OEM+ Done Right: Porsche 911 GT3
Most people would agree that the Porsche 911 GT3 is just about perfect straight from the factory. But our client had other plans.
There was a lot on the list to perfecting this vehicle even further before it hit the road. I'm super excited to share with you several upgrades we completed, starting with one of the most important: an exhaust valve controller. A must-have upgrade for modern supercars.
Here’s what we installed through ABE Customize, ABE Bodyworks & ABE Protect Plus:
1. EXHAUST VALVE CONTROLLER

There’s an unfortunate trend I'm noticing with modern supercars — from the factory, many come with exhaust valves that are forced shut at idle and low RPMs.
That means you’re missing out on all the rich sound that these cars are capable of. With a valve controller, you can bypass that restriction — louder cold starts, deeper idle tones, and aggressive revs on demand. And you can always close up the valves to quiet the start-up & idle when you need to.
Plenty more installs like this are in the pipeline, and I can’t wait to show you just how much of a difference it makes on different makes & models.
2. Carbon Fiber Wing + Matching Gold Pinstripes & "P O R S C H E" Lettering
The OEM GT3 wing is already aggressive, but this aftermarket carbon fiber wing takes it to another level.
We matched the carbon to the paint with 'Gloss White' Coloured PPF. Then tied it all together to the overall spec with an exact colour-matched gold stripe, pinstripes, & "P O R S C H E" lettering under the wing.

3. Painted [Colour-Matched] Diffuser
& Side Skirts
Going OEM+ means getting creative with the overall finish of the car. Refinishing plastics to paint-match is one of those ways and often looks incredible! Completed through ABE Bodyworks.
Here's another example with the same idea: We did this on an F-150 Raptor R, all plastics refinished to paint-match 'Gloss Black.'
4. Full Body PPF (Paint Protection Film),
Ceramic Coating & Key Wrapped
The final and arguably the most important step: we then protected the whole car from top to bottom in high-gloss XPEL Fusion Plus. Custom cut installation all throughout to ensure ever edge is wrapped and the PPF is not visible.
And as a pièce de résistance, we wrapped half the client’s Porsche key in the exact gold finish used throughout the spec. A subtle but stunning detail that ties the whole design together.
