Why Wheels & Suspension (Lowering) Comes First
Whenever someone is looking to begin modifying their daily driver or supercar, I always recommend starting with wheels and suspension (lowering).
From the factory, many cars don’t come with the best stance or fitment. The ride height is often too high, or the wheel's offset sits awkwardly inside the fender. Perfecting this setup with an ideal ride height and flush fitment is the best first step in giving your vehicle a more refined & aggresive stance.
This week at ABE Customize, we completed this set of mods (alongside many others) to a Lamborghini Huracán EVO, Rolls-Royce Cullinan, and GMC Denali. Let’s take a look at how much of a difference these foundational modifications can make!
1. Lamborghini Huracán EVO
The upgrade this EVO deserved: Novitec Adjustable Lowering Springs paired with ADV1's. 20" in the front & 21" in the back.
This car also used to be gloss black! Alongside the wheels & lowering springs we installed full body Satin Grey AMG Coloured PPF + Ceramic Coating inside out through ABE Protect Plus.
2. Rolls Royce Cullinan
Is there really a better setup for the Cullinan? Lowering Links paired with 24" Forigato Trimestre-M's for quite possibly the best fitment, stance and overall ride quality.
3. GMC DENALI
This GMC Denali looks like a whole new car thanks to a set of lowering links and 24" Giovanna Wheels.
This project also benefited from some protection/aesthetics upgrades through ABE Protect Plus. We installed full body Stealth PPF for that Satin White finish and wrapped all badging in Satin White to match the body.
Each of these builds shows just how much impact the right suspension and wheel setup can have for your daily drive or weekend supercar. If you’re thinking about your first mod or next big upgrade, start with stance and fitment, you won’t regret it.
Have a great weekend,
