The Final Edition E63s, Transformed.

As a final send-off of the AMG V8, Mercedes released the Final Edition E63s (with only 999 made), which a good client of ours recently picked up. From the factory this comes with just one finish: the matte graphite grey magno, enhanced with racing stripes decals between the wheels. But our client had different plans for it.. To take it from this:

Although the car was nearly perfect from factory, our client had special plans for it through ABE Customize & ABE Protect Plus. He wasn't a fan of the matte graphite grey magno (wanted it to be Gloss Black) or the stock wheels, felt it was in need of an exhaust and overall wanted to take the exterior styling to the next level. We knew just which aftermarket brand to go with to solve all of these issues:

Brabus.

For the colour change, going with a Gloss Black vinyl wrap would lend several issues:
1. Only 3mm thick -- resulting in the vinyl getting rock chips over time & exposing the underlying paint.
2. Potentially damaging the original matte paint.
3. Texture in the finish -- significant orange peel which does not look like paint.

Compared with our new Gloss Black PPF, all these issues are solved as the film is 3x thicker:
1. Resistant to rock chips.
2. Original paint will remain protected (it is Paint Protection Film after all)
3. Looks just like paint due to the 9mm thick film.

While the vehicle was disassembled and we were laying top to bottom Gloss Black PPF, we also began installing the Brabus Bodykit & Exhaust. Once we put everything back together, we Ceramic Coated the exterior & interior for that extra layer of protection while waiting for it's new set of wheels.
