ABE Bodyworks Highlight: All-White Hellcat

When you think of a “body shop near me”, you think of collision repair and insurance claims but when I first started ABE Bodyworks, I wanted to encapsulate all of these things and more, specifically giving our clients a seamless experience when getting work done to their vehicle. 

It fits into the overall ABE ecosystem perfectly; get pieces painted, protected with PPF and ceramic coated (through ABE Protect Plus) before you even drive the vehicle. Want to refinish all the grey/black plastic to factory paint-match? No problem. Looking to get a custom painted stripe? We’d love to! The possibilities are endless and I wanted to share with you a recent project we completed which shows the potential of ABE Bodyworks. This is a Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat that went from stock to this:

Almost everything on this vehicle was refinished to a paint-matched white as this customer wanted his Hellcat to look like no other. We first disassembled the vehicle, removing everything that needed to be painted. We then thoroughly prepped & sanded all the grey/black plastics.

This included the grilles, the trim, the wheels & calipers, badges, sections of the taillights, engine bay pieces and even the wiper blades for a totally custom look. We also wanted to incorporate red into the overall design so we painted/vinyl wrapped parts of the engine bay, badges and engravings on the wheels to give the Hellcat SRT branding depth and contrast. Check out an in depth-look at the final project on our Instagram or on our Blog.

Once all was said and done, the pieces were sent back to our headquarters where we reassembled the vehicle and protected it top to bottom in PPF & Ceramic Coating through ABE Protect Plus before being flat-bedded to the client for a final photoshoot. Our client never had to leave his house, the vehicle never touched the road and was returned back looking like a whole new beast.
