RWB x ABE 2025: Porsche 930 Widebody

It's been a while! We're back with what might be the most intricate and advanced project we've ever had the privilege to work on: the long-awaited Toronto RWB build of 2025 here at ABE. After a year in the making, the project has finally come to life, and we couldn't be more excited to share it with you.

Before you keep on reading, do yourself a favor and watch the full-length YouTube video below highlighting Akira Nakai building this project and see it rip through the streets of Toronto under the city lights. You won't regret it:

We’d love to hear your thoughts in the comment section! If you enjoyed this one, be sure to subscribe so you don't miss our exciting up-and-coming projects.

Over the last year, we also posted YouTube videos on the process of this project, where it had started, and the full painting process (from Gloss White to PTS Dunkel Olive Green Metallic). Tune into those to really see how far this build has come.

Now let's get into it.

All the parts for the RWB 930 Full Kit, were also painted through ABE Bodyworks to PTS Dunkel Olive Green Metallic before setting up the ideal workspace for RWB’s Akira Nakai. His couch, a fridge full of Mexican Cokes, the car up on the lift and all the parts laid out neatly.

Seeing the car get cut up into pieces after such a meticulous painting process hurt us all 😭, but it didn't take long before the car started taking shape. Akira Nakai installed the full RWB package: front bumper, front canards, rear bumper, and side skirts, along with Origin 3pc Wheels with ToyoR888 Tires 335/30/18 in the back and 265/35/18 in the front.

Once the build was all put together and on the ground, we were all thrilled with the outcome. But the project didn't end there. We still had to put together the new interior, tune up the engine, install subwoofers, a new double-din stereo with Apple Carplay, power steering, A/C, and many many more modern features.

The final stop for this build was at the Dyno, where we pushed the engine to its limit and ensured it was ready for the road.

Finally, we PPF’d the whole car, including the RWB kit, through ABE Protect Plus so the client has complete peace of mind that Nakai’s signature will never fade and the fresh PTS Dunkel Olive Green Metallic paint job will stay that way for years to come.

From when this car first came to us as a white-on-plaid Porsche 930, to its disassembly, figuring out the perfect paint, painting through Bodyworks, Akira Naki's build and the final tune up, this was quite possibly the most intense project we've had here at ABE. And we're so happy we captured it every step of the way to share with you.

If you’d like to be the proud owner of the next Toronto RWB Porsche, reach out as soon as possible, as we have a spot with Akira Nakai for two builds in 2027! One is booked up and one is available.

Have a great start to your week,

-Ali Ushak, CEO.
