It's been more than a decade since Ferrari introduced the legendary 458 Speciale.
Now, the Speciale name returns.
The first Ferrari 296 Speciales have officially landed at ABE, and we've had the privilege of protecting not one, not two, but three of them. Safe to say, this is only the beginning.
For our latest YouTube video, we brought them all together to showcase the different specifications, and take you behind the scenes on how we protected each car through ABE Protect Plus.
Welcome to the New Speciale
The 458 Speciale has always held a special place in our hearts. The unmistakable soundtrack of the naturally aspirated 4.5L V8 made it one of Ferrari's most celebrated driver's cars.
Fast forward to today, and Ferrari has completely reimagined the formula.
The 296 Speciale combines a twin-turbocharged V6 with hybrid technology to create Ferrari's most advanced Speciale yet. It's lighter, more powerful, more aerodynamic, but would you take it over the driving experience of the 458 Speciale? I'll let you decide:
Key Specs Comparison: 458 Speciale vs 296 Speciale

296 Speciale: 3.0L Twin-Turbo V6 + Hybrid Electric Motor
458 Speciale: 4.5L V8Power Output

Which are you taking?
The First 296 Speciale at ABE Protect Plus
Fun Fact: The 296 Speciale generates 20% more downforce than the standard 296 thanks to extensive aerodynamic development inspired by Ferrari's racing program. Every vent, winglet, and carbon fibre surface serves a purpose—which is exactly why every one of them deserved complete protection.
Every painted panel and exposed carbon fibre component was completely wrapped in Paint Protection Film.
As with every Protect Plus package, we modified our pre-cut patterns to wrap every possible edge, eliminating exposed paint and carbon fibre while maintaining a seamless, factory-quality finish. The result is complete coverage across every aerodynamic surface without compromising Ferrari's design.
The Second 296 Speciale at ABE Protect Plus
Can you spot the differences?
Just as we finished the first, another nearly identical 296 Speciale rolled into ABE. At first glance, they look almost identical—but there are a handful of subtle specification changes between the two. Can you spot the differences? Let us know which details caught your eye.
The Third 296 Speciale at ABE Protect Plus
As if two weren't enough, our third Ferrari 296 Speciale was also completed with full body paint protection film.
Finished in Gloss Black with white wheels and a matching white racing stripe, it's a completely different personality from the first two. Where the first two specifications are brighter and more traditional, the black car feels darker, sharper, and noticeably more aggressive. The contrasting white wheels, racing stripe, and interior fits the spec perfectly.
Which Ferrari 296 Speciale specification would you choose, the red or black?
Have a great long weekend!
